Give N' Go

Give n' Go is a campus-wide collection of items students no longer use, want, or feel like squeezing in their car to take home while moving out. Small items can easily be put in designated boxes inside dorm buildings. Students living off campus, faculty, or students with large items should drop off their items in designated zones (before pick up time- refer to the list below). All items collected through Give n' Go will be donated to Women In Need (WIN).

Washington College is making efforts to become a "greener" college. Give n' Go is a program all students and faculty can participate in. Every person who donates an item is helping our goal of becoming a more environmentally friendly campus. You can donate anything and everything that is lightly used, but still works properly. This program is aimed to reduce waste at the time of move out, keeping useful items out of landfills.

To find out more, or how you can help please contact Kelsey Hallowell, khallowell2@washcoll.edu.

Give n' Go is cosponsored by the Center for Environment & Society and WIN.
WIN is a non-profit, primarily volunteer-driven organization, servicing the changing needs of families in Kent and Queen Anne's counties. WIN exists to provide a critical bridge between economic crisis and financial independence for families.
