Reduce Reuse

On campus, the dining hall has pledged to remove all styrofoam, to be replaced with biodegradable take out containers and cups, both of which can be composted on campus.

You can recycle cans, bottles, paper and cardboard in the green bins located around campus. These can be put out to the curb on Monday nights (dorms) and Thursday nights (academic buildings). White paper can go in the blue Shred-It bins.

Electronics, including cell phones and computers, can be recycled at the Help Desk located in the basement of Wm. Smith Hall. If you recycle an iPod, you will receive a rebate toward a future Apple purchase. You can also recycle batteries, including alkaline and computer batteries, at the Help Desk.
